Course Description
Introduction to futures and options; selected topics related to markets for and the marketing of food and agricultural products.
Learning Objectives
- Understand how food and agricultural markets are influenced by fundamental economic forces, the regulatory environments, and changing technologies.
- Learn how to use commodity derivatives to reduce financial risk inherent in agricultural production.
