Course Description:
Price determination and market behavior under different market structures and the problems posed for public policy; not calculus-based. Credit not granted for both EconS 301 and 305.
Learning Objective
- Understand the theory underlying consumer behavior and individual business decisions
- Price formation under different market structures
- Understand the consequences of market failures (externalities, public goods, etc.)
